Time Travel? 05/02/2010

On August 15, 1943 a ship called the USS Eldridge and its skeleton crew of 181 took a trip into the Twilight Zone. Rod Sterling could not have thought up a stranger outcome to an experiment in invisibility.

The USS Eldridge was fitted with 4 generators including Tesla coils, electron tubes, and cable strung throughout the ship. A test with animals was done 3 days prior, with disastrous results. Nevertheless, the government still went ahead with the finial experiment using humans instead of animals.

Once the huge coils were fired up, a green mist engulfed the ship. When the mist dissipated the ship had disappeared, quickly the coils were turned off and the green mist appeared again and finally the ship.

A crew was quickly dispatched onto the ship. They were met with unimaginable horrors; some of the rescue crew would not board the ship. The sight, smell, and sounds were so frightening; men were wandering around out of their minds, others were embedded into the ship, some buried waist deep in the metal. More were on fire, dead, or had simply not reappeared with the ship.

One survivor described the event. Explaining that once the experiment started he felt as though he was being pulled apart into pieces and that “time” had stopped. Men started screaming and the noise around them was tremendous. His eyes, mouth, and ears started bleeding, the pain was unbearable. Pulling himself out of the energy field that held him in place, he made his way to the pilot room and to the captain. The entire ship seemed transparent and gelatinous, even being able to walk through walls.

The ship rematerialized 24 hours later and hundreds of miles away. Only a handful of the men remained. Out of  181 only 21 survived the trip into the Twilight Zone. 27 men were embedded in steel, some shot, as the only humane thing to do, others were kept alive long enough to perform experiments on them. 40 others died from burns, radiation, and other unspeakable horrors. The rest of the men just simply vanished.

The first problem is the government did not have favorable trial run with animals but went ahead and ran it again with men. Secondly, the government did a bad cover-up, movies, documentaries and other shows have been made about this experiment despite claiming it never happened.

A simple internet search resulted in several mysteries that may be linked to this experiment, including TWA Flight 880, the Montauk Project, Aliens, and even Reptilians. It seems the failure of the Philadelphia Experiment was the launching platform into possibly even more horrific experiments with better cover-ups.

Now where did all those missing sailors and scientists go? Time travel?
