I saw a post today by a fellow writer and friend about Jerome Grand Hotel, sad news indeed. The hotel is listed in my Haunts of the Southwest book as a place to stay and eat. There are other restruants and hotels in Jerome to stay at during your visit, so please visit and at least drive by the Grand Hotel. It is not known when the hotel will repoen. Read more about it here: http://jeromegrandhotel.net/press_release.htm Two Christmas Tales. 12/22/2010
So much has been going on I have negelected my writings. Today I posted a Haunt Juant on The Christmas Tree Ship. I also did a little ditty on Christmas ghosts, trolls, haunted Christmas trees and other forgotten spirits of Christmas. Christmas use to be the spookiest time of the year, I am not so sure I want to make a salt cake, especially since I am married but I am all for bringing back some of the ghostly traditions of past. Here are the links to the Christmas Tree Ship and to Haunted Christmas, enjoy! Huant Juants 12/05/2010
Since moving to Texas I have settled in and adventured out to a few places. One of which I am pleased to announce will be my first official post for Haunt Juants. Courtney Mroch invited me to join her team and I am excited to be part of such a great blog and community. Look for my experiences at the famous Catfish Plantaion at Haunt Juants! On the Road Again 11/23/2010
I have officially moved to a very small town in Texas. I was more than pleased to find out about the cemetery down the road, still being used by the locals. The land that my new abode stands on use to be Clyde Barrows uncles land. Clyde and his love Bonnie visited often and used this area as a hide out. Now off to work on my newest book I-90 Ghosts Coast to Coast. Live along the I-90 send me an email and tell me your story or local haunted location! Guest Blogged for Haunt Juants 10/11/2010
A good friend of mine is the creater of Haunt Juants, recently a computer crash and a few other problems left her helpless. Since I have been slacking greatly on my guest blogging for her, I thought this was the perfect time to do a little write up about Voodoo. Check out my post on Marie Laveau. It's a brief summary on her life. Did you know she had 9 children and was born to free mulatto parents? Click here to check out The Voodoo Queen and please look around the site at all the other great stories and haunted locations. A box arrived today! 09/09/2010
